About Us

The Greenwall School is a holistic learning community located on 9 acres in Duvall, Washington. We are focused on providing challenging cognitive work held in a warm, supportive environment in harmony with whole-person needs.

Our program is a Monday - Wednesday academic program centered on the core subjects (Math, English Language Arts, Science, and History/Social Studies). Although all Greenwall students are registered as homeschoolers, we operate in partnership with a Washington state-approved umbrella school through whom records and transcripts are kept. Thursdays and Fridays are held open for beloved weekly programming at The Wilderness Awareness School and Hawthorn Farm, as well as informal gatherings and adventures. Our school is a helping community and assists families in finding childcare coverage when additional days or support is needed.

How do we prepare learners for an uncertain future?

-Keep the spark alive (passion-based, choice-centered work)

-Prioritize developing grit (exposure to genuine challenges)

-Give developing brains time and space to build focus and concentration skills (technology limited/technology-selective spaces)

-Hold space for social connection in phone-free, distraction-free spaces
